Zeman's smithery

It has stood here for years and used to be the property of the nobility. In 1766 it was purchased by the noble blacksmith of the time, Václav Gargulák. The building and its facilities were neglected until 1968, when Holešov tourists began repairing it.

Drum-gate mill

Mill from the 19 century which served the local farmers. In 1938-1942 it underwent reconstruction. The descendants of the original owners renovated it in 1991 and have been operating it ever since.

Bystřička - reservoir dam

The reservoir solid dam is lined with stone blocks on both sides and is 190 m long in the crest, 2.9 m wide and 36.5 m high.

In place of the original wooden bridge there is a 40 m long suspension bridge held by 22 bridge cables on two 10 m high sloping pylons.

Kostelec-Štípa - windmill

The brick windmill on the rise southeast from the village (the smallest in the country). It was built in 1858-60 and last grinded in 1944. It used to be called Kovář’s fan according to the surname of the owners. The windmill wheel not only powered a grinding facility but also a sawmill. The mill building is owned by descendents of the last miller and it is possible to arrange a tour of the interior...

Luhačovice - water reservoir

This water reservoir serves waterworks and recreational purposes and was built in 1930. The dam is interesting for its stone outlet. The earth fill dam is 22 m high and 249 m long in the crest.

Rymice - windmill

The wooden windmill on the northern edge of the village, a part of a small open-air museum called Folk Building Complex (a part of Museum of the Kroměříž Region). The mill was built in 1795 and used to be in nearby Bořenovice. Because of impending destruction, it was taken apart and moved to the just-established open-air museum in 1977. Its interior contains well-preserved and still functioning milling...

Velké Těšany - windmill

The wooden windmill southeast of the village is a technical monument. It was built in 1827, and used until 1942, when the miller was arrested by Gestapo and executed. In the late 1960s, the mill was in danger of falling, but was restored in 1972-1975 and turned to a museum.

Kunkovice - windmill

The conical, walled windmill in fields north of the village was built in 1875 and was made of brick, similarly to the nearby windmill in Chválkovice (owners of both buildings were relatives). The desolate, accessible interior contains wreckage of milling machinery, the windmill wheel survived only as a wooden cross of blade axes. Only the roof of the technical monument and scenic dominant was repaired...

One of the first power stations using Kaplan's turbines for purposes of energy, which function till the present.
